Klaus, unfortunately, knows he is special.

He's entirely certain that if he wasn't, his life would be much less of a pain in the ass.

On October 1, 1989, 43 women around the world give birth simultaneously, despite none of them showing any sign of pregnancy until labor began. Klaus (or, as he was known for an uncomfortably long amount of time thereafter, 'Number Four') was one of the unlucky seven babies adopted by an eccentric billionaire, Reginald Hargreeves (hereafter known as 'that bastard'). That bastard wasn't looking to form a family - no, he wanted a team of superheroes.

In Klaus, he got a kid completely uncomfortable (read: entirely terrified by) his powers. He went from a barely functional teen superhero to a barely functioning alcoholic adult to a barely functioning addict while two of his 'brothers' and one of his 'sisters' continued the superhero shtick. For a while. It all has to come tumbling down eventually.

And you know? Despite how much he's drank and how many pills he's swallowed down, the ghosts haven't really gone away. They've just learned about jump scares. And people wonder why he's never sober, honestly.

Description:
Klaus Hargreeves is usually either high, some shade of drunk, or some combination of those two. He manages to function by the skin of his teeth and a lot of sheer determination... but he doesn't always function well. Or happily. He puts on a good show of it, though. Six-foot-nothing (unless he's tried heels again, heels are tricky), thirty-year-old, mop of brown hair that laughs at your concept of a hairbrush, not really built for hand-to-hand combat (sorry dad), definitely has needle tracks (both from the fun stuff and from the hospital visits after a bit too much), pansexual, looks killer in a skirt. He only has three tattoos (that he can show in mixed company) - HELLO on the palm of one hand, GOODBYE on the other, and a stylized umbrella on his left wrist. He is ignoring the umbrella. At the time he is coming in, he is actively trying to NOT use his powers, though he's still followed around by one ghost in particular in the 'real world' - won't be in the bar, as he could be apped. (Surely someone is interested in apping the pup? C'mooooon, we'll go for waffles. Everyone likes waffles.) If he's on the edge of not-quite-high-enough-yet or oh-crap-my-high-is-going-away he might spot any ghosts that are haunting your pup, if you like. Even/especially if your pup isn't aware of said ghosts. At this point, no, he's not going to enjoy it.
